Our promise

A short ingredient list is the whole point.

Most of what sits on a bathroom shelf is water, a preservative system and a fragrance. We started Mellow Mint because the alternative — clay, dried botanicals, and the patience to grind them properly — has been sitting in South Asian kitchens the whole time.

Every jar is a dry powder. You mix it, fresh, with whatever your skin wants that week: rose water, aloe vera gel, yogurt, honey. No preservatives are needed, because there is no water in the jar for anything to grow in.
