Mellow Mint began with a simple frustration: almost everything on the shelf was water, a preservative system and a fragrance, sold at a price that suggested otherwise.

The alternative had been sitting in South Asian kitchens the whole time. Fuller’s earth for cleansing. Orange peel for brightness. Moringa for everything else. Sandalwood when skin needs calming, hibiscus when it needs smoothing, aloe when it needs water. Ingredients with a track record measured in generations rather than quarters.

So we make the boring version. Dry powder, ground fine, blended in small batches and filled into glass by hand here in Nepal. You add the water — rose water, aloe vera gel, yogurt, milk, whatever your skin is asking for that week. The mask is made fresh, every single time, in your own bathroom.

It is not complicated. That is rather the point.
